Happy weekend loves!
Last night, La Mode Magazine at UW hosted their launch party in Zebra Club, downtown Seattle. I was very happy to be there to celebrate the first college-fashion magazine's birth in Seattle. The founder of La Mode, Scarlett Hao, told me that the goal of the magazine is to encourage people from different backgrounds to show their fashion side. Regardless of their race or body type, everyone has the right to pursue fashion. As a blogger, I understand that it takes a lot of effort to pull off an interesting article, not to mention an entire magazine! I'm impressed by these college girls' courage and wish them all the best!

At the launch party, I also had the opportunity to meet many other up-and-coming fashion industry insiders and bloggers. I was especially happy to meet Lusha from Zebra Club, a designer who just launched her own brand, L+C. I even got so lucky as to win one of her new products at party's raffle giveaway!
